Customers express their gratitude to Artistry in Glass

My wife (and I) were astounded at the quality of your repair work on the broken nativity ceramic! If you didn’t know it had been broken, you’d never know! You and your staff are truly fine, accomplished craftspeople!”Rich Pfisterer, Tucson, AZ“Hi John, I received my glass inserts today and they are remarkably beautiful. What a fantastic job. Thank you ever so much! It was a pleasure doing business with you. Happy Holidays!” Cheryl Chambers, Philadelphia,  PAI repaired my heirloom candlestick today and your instructions worked like a charm. Thanks for your consideration in providing not just the adhesive but the custom instructions, Q-tips, and even razor blades!”Prof. Steven Pinker, Harvard Univ, Cambridge, MA“The award design looks spectacular. Thank you so much for your time, effort and creativity! Cheers! ” USAF Capt Sid Maru,  DMAFB, Tucson, AZ“We can not begin to tell you how pleased we were with your restoration efforts of our bowl & bowl top. We will return if we ever need any repair and send the message to our friends.”  Bill & Sieglinde Sibole, Oro Valley,  AZ“I just want the two of you to know how much we love our pantry door.  We leave the light on every evening, along with the lights under the cabinets for mood lighting, but mostly because we love the etched glass. Thank you John for creating the piece for us” Penny & Cliff Crutchfield, Tucson,  AZ“I stumbled across your website by accident, and had no idea what I was asking from you was so mundane. After looking at your website, you are truly an ARTIST, and you could have shooed me away because what I was asking of you was so trivial. Instead, you treated me with such kindness and and respect that it was truly a privilege to do business with you. You not only saved me a great deal of money for my cabinet glass, but you shipped it well packaged and affordably! I enjoyed our conversation (and your accent!) very much. Thank you so much!”Terresa Showalter, Mound City,  MOOn January 24, 2013 I brought to your shop four pieces of a very precious handmade, handpainted and signed, ceramic lampshade. I truly thought it was beyond repair and I was heartbroken.  Claire told me that she could repair and re-paint the shade and make it look almost as good as new. She was so cheerful and confident that she made me feel confident that she could really do the repair. When she told me she could do it for $110.00, I told her that if she could really fix it, that price was way too low. She really did it! It is not perfect but as close to perfect as it is possible to be. I am delighted and a little in awe. I do not know how she did it and I am telling all my friends about your wonderful business. Please accept my very sincere thank you.” Kathleen C. Page, Oro Valley,  AZ“John & his son did a fabulous job repairing a large glass statue that we purchased in Italy many years ago & shipped from New York to Arizona recently. They did an unbelievable job putting our “Viking” back together even though it weighs about 60 lbs. His concern, caring & helpfulness was beyond the norm as the statue was repaired to its original condition and appearance. We had gotten many opinions on options to repair the statue but they all came back with no hope it could be repaired. Artistry in Glass never hesitated & were very positive from the very first”Jodee Bruner , Oro Valley,  AZ

Wooden figurine before and after repair

Our family has a Santo Nino de Atocha statue which is also known as Baby Jesus. This heirloom is of sentimental value to our family. It was given to my mother when she was six or seven years old. My mother passed at 83years several years ago and she passed Santo a Nino to me for his care until I pass on. Well recently Santo Nino got dropped from a shelf and his arm broke off. Santo Nino handled by several family members temporarily until my mother grew up, so needless too say he had alot of wear and tear when I finally received him. So we called John Wakefield, Artistry in Glass and kept our fingers crossed that John could repair our Santo Nino. John has such a kind soul and understood just how much this statue meant to me. He repaired all the cracks and created a new piece to connect the arm our family. Oh my God, John is so fantastic, I was truly touched by how wonderful Santo Nino repairs were done. John kept the authentic look to the new parts…its amazing! Thank you John, my heart now is at peace to know that this family heirloom will go on for many generations thanks to your craft.
